Fine Art Friday

“My heart that was rapt away by the wild cherry blossoms - will it return to my body when they scatter?”
-Unknown

Hello! In honor of spring and Japan, Sakura (cherry blossoms) are the subject of my attention today. I would like to share these wonderful pieces of art - Enjoy!

“Break open a cherry tree and there are no flowers, but the spring breeze brings forth myriad blossoms.”
-Ikkyu Sojun

In Your Absence

Not yet summer,
but unseasonable heat
pries open the cherry tree.

It stands there stupefied,
in its sham, pink frills,
dense with early blooming.

Then, as afternoon cools
into more furtive winds,
I look up to see
a blizzard of petals
rushing the sky.

It is only April.
I can't stop my own life
from hurrying by.
The moon, already pacing.

I think everything posted was very logical. But, what about this?
what if you typed a catchier title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, however suppose you added a post title that makes people want more? I mean "Fine Art Friday" is a little boring. You could look at Yahoo's front page
and see how they create article headlines to get people interested.
You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab
readers interested about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it would make your posts a little livelier.

Hi! I understand this is kind of off-topic however I needed to ask.
Does running a well-established blog such as yours take a
lot of work? I am completely new to operating a blog but I do write in my journal on a daily basis.
I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to share my own experience and feelings online. Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for new aspiring blog owners. Appreciate it!
