Showoff Sunday!

Hello and Welcome!

HAND PAINTED WOODEN BOWL - Spring Time Cherry Blossoms

Cherry Blossoms Adrift

Pink petals passing
Scents above so high
Painted porcelain perfection
Blossoms caress the sky

Swaying silent shroud
Suitors strolling by
Pink petals passing
Lover's gentle sigh

Pastel hues falling
Slow fluttering grace
Pink petals passing
Lining streams in lace

Pink petals passing
Smoothest transit by
Soft essence floating
In most subtle lullaby

Inducing springtime slumber
Upon a satin shore
Sailing with the current
Pink petals pass before

-Mary Fumento

what a gorgeous collection of cherry blossoms! i think we should buy one for our new yard - we're going to plant our family tree this spring - maybe a pink dogwood or a wheeping cherry willow - we have a gorgeous green japanese maple that turns deep red in the fall and a gazillion foot american maple over the house right now, some blooming trees would be AWESOME! siempre - dorana

Beautiful! I love that poem by Housman... it continues, and talks of how, with only 50 more springs (roughly) in his life to look at things in bloom, he's gotta go out and look at the cherry blossoms! :)

Love that bowl by BellaCosaArt, and the beautiful cards, too. Thanks for a beautiful Sunday posting!
