Mosaic Monday: Valentine's Day 2011

“The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in.”
-Morrie Schwartz

Hello! Happy Valentine's Day! My husband and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, after all we try make sure we celebrate every day together. However, we do try and make it special for our children, which is a lot of fun for us! Today's mosaic is comprised of images of vintage valentine cards - I think they are awesome! Enjoy!

"Love is the flower of life, and blossoms unexpectedly
and without law, and must be plucked where it is found,
and enjoyed for the brief hour of its duration."

I am substituting an image of the day for the thought of the day - Enjoy!

Thanks for the walk down memory lane with those sweet old valentines.

Love those old cards. They remind me of the kind we used to have as kids. They came in big books and we punched them out- the envelopes you had to fold and paste. Hours of activity putting them all together. Happy Valentines!
